Whatever It Takes

I came across today a story from a local newspaper which reported a Taiwanese groom who died on his wedding day after having too much wine and beer to drink.   The man was only 35 years old, an insurance company worker.  He passed out at home after drinking too much on his wedding day.

It was not known if he had health complications.  Everyone was having a great time according to the party organizer.   The man was hospitalized after his face turned black.   He died despite treatment.

This is really a very sad and traumatic experience for the wife.   A lot of questions coming from my head….. One, was the husband celebrating happily that’s why he drank too much wine and beer?   Two, was the man trying to drink too much wine and beer to intentionally end his life.    Well,  the news didn’t say anything about the reason but for the sake of discussion we will raise this questions.   What do you think is the reason why he drank too much wine and beer on his wedding day?   If  I’m the groom, I should not be drinking too much wine on my wedding day because I will be anticipating for a more exciting part after the reception…….. the First Night!   How could I perform well if I’m drunk???  That’s my point of view…..what about yours? hahahaha
